Why Do Mum & Baby Yoga?

Mum and Baby Yoga offers you the opportunity to engage in safe full body full body toning and strengthening exercises helping you to regain strength, flexibility and bring ease to the whole body.

At the same time the playful interactions of Parent & Baby Yoga is a wonderful way of continuing to build the bonds of attachment and trust between you and your baby. When babies can feel that parents are confident and relaxed their sense of security increases along with their confidence. Baby yoga offers a fun a stimulating opportunity to support this development. 

It also offers the opportunity for both you and your baby to relax in each others company and to enjoy some quite relaxation together the end of the sessions.


*Classes are suitable for babies from 12 weeks old to approximately 16 months (active crawling/standing/just beginning to walk)

Benefits for Mum:

What to Expect at a Mum & Baby Yoga Class

Enjoy songs with fun playful movements to build your baby's confidence; while also giving yourself the opportunity to squeeze in a bit of exercise!

The sessions offer a beautiful balance of pleasure and fun for baby, with lots of opportunity for mum to begin to engage in some gentle post natal exercise. 

In Each Session:
There are gentle body movements for baby that are done with playfulness and song.
Warm up movements for you.
Stimulating (and safe!) 'swings' and 'dips' for baby 
Full body toning, and strengthening movements for mum - some done with baby!
Exercises to regain pelvic floor strength.
Restorative relaxation for you and baby at the end of each class.
