Terms and Conditions of Bookings
Minding Each Moment will not be liable for any loss or damage that may occur whilst on the class premises. Participants are responsible for their own health and take full responsibility for their own safety and wellbeing and that of the child/children in their care. 

Minding Each Moment does not operate an automatic re-booking system. To re-book onto courses or classes, it is advisable that you do so via the online booking system at least three weeks in advance. 

For Courses and Block Term Bookings
Once a course or term has started Minding Each Moment is not under any obligation to provide a refund or transfer to an alternative course or term booking in the event that you are unable to attend part, or all of the course or term sessions. 

If you give birth prior to using all of your sessions then the credit can be used towards a postnatal course or 1:1 home visit booking.

In the unfortunate event that you endure a miscarriage a full refund will be made for all booked prenatal or postnatal courses and classes. 

If during pregnancy your GP, consultant or midwife requests that you cease attending classes for medical reasons, you will be offered credit of the unused sessions to go towards postnatal classes or courses. 

If postnatally your GP, consultant or health visitor requests that you cease attending classes due to health reasons a refund for remaining sessions will be made upon receipt of a medical certificate.

Cancellation by Minding Each Moment
In the event of a class or course being cancelled by the instructor due to illness or unforeseen circumstances the customer will be entitled to a refund on request. The instructor will always endeavour to make contact with you if a class needs to be cancelled; please check your phone prior to attending classes. The instructor may also make alternative provision by having a suitably qualified person step in to take the class during the absence, and in such circumstances a refund will not be offered.

Bad Weather or Other Disasters
In the event of bad weather or other natural disasters or pandemics the instructor will refer to best practices and guidelines, and use information to make informed decisions. If the weather is deemed fit for travel or if guidelines for disasters or pandemics are put into place in accordance with advice, and the decision is taken to run the class, but you personally decide not to attend then a refund will not be made. 

Health & Safety
The Minding Each Moment instructor is a fully qualified 200hr REP’s yoga instructor who has specialised as a Birthlight (Yoga Alliance accredited) Perinatal Yoga Instructor - holding additional training for Pregnancy Yoga, Postnatal Yoga, and Adult with Baby Yoga (0-18 months). The instructor is also a fully qualified IAIM Baby Massage Instructor, holds an up to date First Aid Certificate, and has enhanced DBS clearance. With a background in providing family support, your instructor is trained in infant and child development (0-18 years), and has a degree in Child & Youth Studies (UK), and in Therapeutic Child & Youth Care (Canada).

The decision to perform any of the exercises or movements remains the individuals, and the instructor cannot accept any responsibility for problems or injury to you or your baby, during or outside of class. 

All equipment provided will be suitably maintained and cleaned. Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment (e.g. yoga mat, blankets, etc). 


Privacy Policy
Here at Minding Each Moment we are responsible for ensuring that we comply with the Data Protection Requirements.

Data we hold about you
We hold your name and email address on a mailing list so that we can communicate with you regarding events, changes to the schedule, etc. We also keep the data you provided of your address, age, and other details regarding your mental and physical health that you provide for classes or events. Our classes and events include children and we also hold the information you provide about them (e.g. name, DOB, health issues) with your information. This information is used initially bring awareness to any specific needs and to inform and guide teaching points to ensure they are safe and appropriate for you and child.

Keeping your data safe
The personal data that you provide is stored both electronically and on paper; insurance policy require that the records are kept for 7 years in case of future litigations. To keep your digital data safe, it is protected by network security and anti-virus software while paper data (such as attendance records) are kept in a locked file. We only allow our admin staff, website administration, software developers and instructors to access personal records. Personal data will not be passed on to others and never sold to third parties. 

Processing data
Processing is an activity that involves using personal data; it includes: obtaining, recording, holding, transferring, organising, amending, retrieving, disclosing, erasing and destroying. Data Protection Requirements are not intended to prevent the processing of data, but to ensure that it is done fairly and without adversely affecting the rights of the individual. Therefore, personal data will only be processed where it is necessary for the following lawful purposes: where the processing is necessary for performing a contract with the individual, for compliance with a legal obligation, in the legitimate interests of the business, or where an individual has given their consent (or in the case of a child under the age of 16 where the guardian has given consent). To ensure that the personal data we hold is accurate and up to date we will from time to time ask you to refresh your details and consent and expect you to inform us if there are any changes to your personal information, contact details or health. Each activity offered by Minding Each Moment has separate registration, health and photo consent forms and any change to beginning on a new activity will require new forms to be completed. 

Your data will only be held as long as is required then all reasonable steps to erase and destroy the data will be taken. At any time, you have the right to withdrawal your consent, and ask in writing to have your data removed form our system, to unsubscribe from the mailing list or ask us not to contact you by emailing us at andrea@mindingeachmoment.co.uk. We will act on this request and inform you when it has happened. 

Changes to this policy
  • Our privacy policy and Terms and Conditions may change from time to time. The amended version will be published on our website. This will replace any previous privacy policy.
